- This is a soft and easy-drinking style with ripe pear and lemon-vanilla flavours, fruity and appealing.Producer: Umberto Cesari. It is a delicate and harmonious blend, where Trebbiano fuses with Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc to yield a truly unique wine, judiciously balanced, graceful, and self-confident. It is emphatic, lingering with fragrant pear and apple and just the right degree of crisp fruitiness.

Each grape variety was vinified separately. The grapes were gently pressed, followed by the fermentation, which took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was blended and kept in stainless steel tanks until bottling. No wood was used, in order to preserve the fruity, varietal characteristics of the blend.
A delicate and harmonious blend, where the fusion of Trebbiano, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc yield a truly unique, beautifully balanced and graceful wine. Appealing notes of fragrant pear and apple are complemented by crisp fruitiness.

| Winery | Umberto Cesari is located in eastern Emilia-Romagna, where the vineyards cover eight poderi or fields. The estate is protected by the Calanchi Azzuri- the local badlands- a dry terrain where softer sedimentary rocks and clay-rich soils have been extensively eroded by wind and water. The Calanche Azzuri forms a crown-like structure of clay-based rocks. This combination of clay soils and the mild climate promotes ideal conditions for premium viticulture. The average age of the vines used to produce Moma is 10 years, yielding 10,000kg per hectare. Careful canopy management ensures the optimum amount of sunlight and shade, encouraging the clusters to reach optimum maturity. The vineyards are cultivated sustainably, and the grapes are hand-harvested. |
