- An intense and concentrated Porto Branco, with delicate floral aromas and rich flavours of crystalised orange through to a long and delicate finish with balanced sweetness.
A 'bica Alberta' free-flow fermentation occurred without skin contact, using Quinta do Vallado-inoculated yeasts. Vinification occurred in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and lasted for around 20 days. Once the desired level of Baumé was reached, the grape brandy, known as the 'Benefit', was added, resulting in a naturally sweet wine. The wine spent three years maturing in stainless steel tanks.
An intense and concentrated Porto Branco, it has delicate floral aromas and rich flavours of crystalised orange, which lead to a long and delicate finish with a balanced sweetness.

Winery | Quinta do Vallado’s estate covers 65 hectares of vineyard. The vines are planted at altitudes ranging between 80 and 400 metres on south and west-facing slopes, which maximise exposure to the sun, assisting the ripening potential of the grapes. The landscape is characterised by the terraces that make up the vineyards. The soils are made up of schist, a slate-like metamorphic rock that is rich in nutrients and offers useful water retention properties. The vines are pruned according to the Double Cordon system and are harvested at optimal maturity. This wine is made predominantly from Moscatel Galego Branco, a synonym for Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, recognised as an elegant and fragrant variety with delicate complexity. |
