Tasting Notes
Expect a vibrant bouquet of plum, ripe blackberries, and subtle spice. On the palate, the wine is fresh and fruit-forward, with silky tannins and hints of cinnamon and star anise. A touch of earthiness adds complexity and structure, making this wine both approachable and layered.
With an ABV of 13.5% and a medium body (Body C), it pairs effortlessly with grilled vegetables, roasted meats, and mature cheeses. This vintage reflects the resilience of the vines in 2024, which overcame a cool spring and delayed ripening to produce flavour-rich fruit with excellent concentration and balance.

Winery | The vines are grown in the Valle de Maule, stretching around 60 miles. The centre of its wine production lies 180 miles south of Santiago at a latitude of 35°S. Long, warm and dry summers offer the vines a long vegetation period. The climate rarely experiences frost in the spring, avoiding flowering disruption. The lack of rainfall continues throughout the growth period, which forces the vines to send their roots deeper into the soil in search of water and nutrients, resulting in complexity. The soils are very old and comprise granitic sandy loam formed from granite from the Coastal Mountains. The soils are mineral-rich and full of quartz, enabling the vines to express their full fruit potential. The vineyard is sustainably cultivated, and the grapes are harvested by hand. |
