Winery | The vineyard is located close to the sea, with sea breezes producing a cooling effect, which, combined with the high humidity levels, enhances the fruit flavours in the grapes. The vines are trained vertically with strict water control, which helps to moderate vigour and encourage small, concentrated grapes. Yields are approximately five tonnes per hectare. The vines are grown in granite and alluvial soils. All the grapes are handpicked at optimal maturity levels before being taken immediately to the winery to retain freshness. |
