- Voskehat variety This native grape delivers intense and complex aromas of white melon, green apple, fresh rosemary, and lime Subtle spice and mineral undertones, fresh and tingly on the finish. The aromas are echoed on the palate, which shows a streak of fresh minerality balancing the full structure. Long and elegant. Golden Grape Armas was founded in 2007 by Armenak Aslanian, who repatriated to his motherland for the realization of goals that involve the intertwined aspects of family, heritage, culture, and progress, with personal values and responsibilities he maintains as a father, an entrepreneur, and as an Armenian. Alongside his daughters, he preserves an 80-year-old family tradition of wine, naming ArmAs in honour of his grandfather Armenak Aslanian Sr., the original winemaker in the family. He continues to develop ArmAs Estate with a vision to uphold and revitalise Armenia’s winemaking legacy in the oldest known area for viticulture and oenology.
The grapes were carefully selected to maintain the highest quality. Fermentation took place at 16 to 17°C with selected yeasts in stainless steel to retain the purity of the fruit. Maturation of eight months on the lees with weekly bâtonnage, imparted texture and complexity to the resulting wine.

| Winery | The ArmAs estate is located in the Aragatsotn Province (pronounced ARRA-got-sart'n), with vineyards ranging from 700 to 1,900 meters above sea level. The altitude promotes a long ripening period; the vines produce concentrated fruit nourished by 300 days of sunshine annually, balanced by a freshness created by the cool summer nights. The ungrafted vines are planted in soils comprising 30 volcanic, limestone, and clay layers. |
