- The 2022 vintage presented intense weather conditions with frost, heatwaves, and drought occurring at various growth cycle stages. Despite these challenges, the vines produced generous quantities of wine with a captivating balance and freshness. This wine offers an aromatic bouquet of floral notes, lemon, and grapefruit with underlying buttery brioche notes. On the palate, it is light, fresh, and slightly spicy, appealing to wine lovers worldwide.
This cuvee is a blend of two methods of vinification. A proportion was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, ensuring a good expression of the varietal aromas and purity of fruit. In contrast, the remaining proportion was barrel-fermented, imbuing the wine with oak complexity. Once alcoholic fermentation was complete, the lees were stirred weekly to impart greater richness to the palate.
A complex array of herbaceous, floral, and citrus notes is layered with mineral accents, resulting in a full-flavoured palate of wonderful length.

Winery | Between the Hill of Corton and Beaune, the hills of the Cote de Beaune recede a little on either side of the little river Rhoin and open up to the vineyards of Savigny-LesBeaune. These vineyards are of ancient lineage; for much of their history, they belonged to the Dukes of Bourgogne, neighbouring religious houses, or the Knights of Malta. An imposing 14th-century castle testified to the appellation’s aristocratic standing. The soil of the Cote is derived predominantly from the subsidence of the Saone River floodplain, which resulted in a 200-metre drop about the Morvan Plateau, creating a long hillside with very regular slopes and eastern and south-eastern exposures. This fault also freed minerals trapped in the soil for thousands of years. The vineyards stretch across the gentle slopes of the hillside, allowing the vines to take full advantage of exposure to the sun. The vines are manually harvested. |
