| Winery | The grapes come from the estate vineyards in Rías Baixas, predominantly from the Santa Marina vineyard, where the vines are traditionally farmed. The vines are influenced by the strong cooling sea breezes from the Atlantic, which enables the vines to have a long, slow and gradual maturation, helping to build aromatic complexity in the grapes and retain the bright, natural acidity that Albariño is famed for. The soils are predominantly granitic, with pockets of schist, which imbue the wine with an intense character and mineral style. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and selected in the vineyard to ensure the best quality fruit is vinified. |
