Our French White Wine portfolio includes all regions and styles, from entry-level to prestigious premium wines. France is recognised as the most prominent wine-producing country in the world, whose winemakers are ever-developing styles, ageing vessels and grape varieties.
Château Lestrille
Château Lestrille is located at the northern point of the Entre-deux-Mers appellation in the small town of St. Germain du Puch between Libourne and Bordeaux. Passionate and dedicated winemaker Estelle Roumage makes modern, elegant wines from sustainably cultivated grapes. The estate is certified with the High Environmental Value Level 3, and Estelle believes the essence of winemaking lies in the vineyard itself, placing considerable emphasis on respecting the balance of the soil. Each plot on the 45-hectare property is vinified separately with tailor-made precision and minimal intervention to respect and optimise the characteristics of the vintage and terroir, creating charming wines with the utmost appeal.
Antoine Olivier
Antoine Olivier was founded at the end of the 1960s, from a few vineyards left by Antoine Chevalier Moreau to his grandson, Hervé Olivier. Hervé began extending the estate by purchasing historic, old vineyards across Santenay, some of which had not been used for a century, paying particular attention to famous white wine vineyards. The quality of these soils is now recognised in a series of brilliant wines, particularly the exceptional white Santenay, which is a rarity in what is predominantly a red wine growing area. Today, Hervé’s grandson Antoine Olivier and his sister Rachel manage the estate. They are dedicated growers and follow organic practices in the vineyard. Their philosophy is to combine modernity with respect for the Burgundian soils, and this stunning collection of wines showcases this.
Domaine Georges Vernay
Georges Vernay is known as the "King of Condrieu" and was responsible for this small appellation's growth and worldwide recognition during the 1950s. His estate covers 22 hectares of vineyards, six of which are in the Côte Rôtie appellation. The steep and uneven vineyards make mechanical labour impossible. The vines are manually cultivated without the use of residual herbicide or insecticide. Georges' daughter, Christine, returned to her roots with Paul Anselem, her Parisian husband, and has looked after the winemaking since 1997, gaining worldwide recognition for her Côte Rôtie wines. In 2019, Domaine Georges Vernay was awarded the prestigious 3 stars by 'La Revue du Vin de France'.
