- Delicious and full flavours of apricot and mango are enhanced by luscious and rich caramel and caramelised brown sugar. Lovely, sweet peaches and ripe melon with vanilla aromas carry through to a richly textured palate. The sweetness is beautifully balanced, rich but not cloying, and it has great length, retaining freshness throughout.
The grapes are picked in the middle of winter, in subzero conditions, so that they are frozen and their sugars are very concentrated. They are then pressed and separated from the must. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels for 14 weeks and then aged in oak barrels for 10 months thereafter.

Winery | Following the philosophy that only the best grapes produce high-quality wines, meticulous care and attention are paid to the vines. A foliage treatment ensures a more balanced aeration and exposure to the sun, resulting in healthy grapes. The vineyards at Weingut Rabl are either the best primary rock soil vineyards in and around Langenlois or based on rich loess soils of the same high calibre. |
