- Subtle hints of beeswax and vanilla accompany lemon, yellow flower, and peach fragrances. A bright entry on the palate with medium acidity leads to vibrant tastings of pear, lemon meringue crust, and lime zest ending with a long and creamy finish."Alluring, lifted aromas of butterscotch, piquant spice, and green apple leap from the glass. It blankets the palate and fills the senses with a medium-plus bodied, generously textured flow of tang-infused, balanced, and beautiful palate flavours with lemon curd, apple compote, and tropical notes interwoven with mineral notes and baking spice all persisting through the lingering finish. Pour on its own or with lemon chicken or pan-seared trout under a squeeze of fresh lemon. In a word or two… delightful, delicious."

Winery | Quails’ Gate can trace its origins back to 1908, when the Stewart family first settled in Canada's Okanagan Valley, although the family planted vines for the first time in 1961, and the winery was founded in 1989. Since then, Quails’ Gate has become one of the leading producers of premium wines in British Columbia, and under current CEO Tony Stewart, the founding family remains committed to the winery. They are also committed to preserving their picturesque location with a demonstrable focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship by applying low-impact viticultural practices. |
