- An explosion of elegant and concentrated aromas and fresh tastes. This is an innovative wine made in an unconventional style exclusively from organic grapes produced in Argentina. Its body and exuberance come from the local grape variety, Torrontés, while the Pinot Grigio grapes, lightly dried, give it class and the style of a top Venetian white wine.

- dry
- 0.4 g/l residual sugar
- 4.56 g/l acidity
- 3.33 pH
The Pinot Grigio grapes were lightly dried for fifteen days to concentrate their ’ flavour. The grapes were then pressed and chilled to 57C. After twenty hours of settling, the must was inoculated with yeast and fermented in stainless steel at 15-1 7C, with micro-oxygenation. The Torrontes were destemmed and given several hours of cold maceration before pressing and fermenting in the same way. The components were blended after fermentation and allowed to harmonize for six months in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
The nose has roses, orange blossom, broom, and fruity hints of grapefruit, orange, and peach. The palate is fresh, full-bodied, and well-balanced, and it lasts long in the mouth, with a touch of lemon on the finish.

Winery | Masi chose the Tupungato Valley in Mendoza, Argentina, as the site for its ‘‘Vigneti La Arboleda’’ company. Here, native grapes from Venetian regions are planted alongside emblematic Argentinian varieties—Malbec and Torrontés —to make wines using the appassimento method from Valpolicella, in which Masi is a recognized specialist. The estate is totally eco-sustainable and farmed organically. The exceptional biodiversity of the area has led Masi to establish a botanic garden open to visitors. One of the most original winemaking projects in recent years, Masi Tupungato, is a fusion of Venetian technique and Argentine terroir. Passo Blanco sets the scene with its blend of grape varieties. Still, Passo Doble goes a step further: two-thirds of Malbec is re-fermented with lightly dried Corvina, enhancing depth and savouriness while maintaining balancing acidity. This experiment has been successful and full of spicy fruit with great body and length! Since 2015, the wines have been certified organic. |
