Deep and dark in colour, the Russian River Valley offers a complex array of fruit, floral, and citrus aromas. The wine has some mature blocks of Pommard from the WS Estate and early sites from the Santa Rosa Plain area. With refreshing acidity and breadth of the palate, this is a serious wine with red and black fruit flavours mixing with citrus and black tea notes.

Red cherry and violets intermingle with notes of cinnamon stick, Rooibos tea, and earthen pottery. Red fruits and spices continue on the palate. Laser-like acidity through the middle balances the overall thickness of this wine and gives it a round, polished feel.
